About Me

I was a Ph.D. student in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in MIT. I worked in the NanoStructures Laboratory on the Spatial-Phase-Locked Electron-Beam Lithography project. I quit school to work for Hammerhead Networks, a startup which eventually got acquired by Cisco Systems. In November 2005, I quit my job in Cisco to travel the world.

As an undergraduate I also double majored in Physics (Course 8) , and lived in the Russian House at MIT. I have since moved off campus and now live in Cambridge.

I am originally from Minsk, Belarus (one of the former Soviet Union republics). In 1992, I and my family moved to the US. Now my family lives in the beautiful Fort Lauderdale, FL.
